The Use of Selective Lewatit® Resins for Recovery, Refining and Recycling of Battery Materials
The demand forecast for lithium ion batteries as storage devices for sustainable electric energy from wind and solar is strong. Therefore the sustainable extraction, refining and recycling of high-purity battery metals like lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, that are needed for use in lithium ion batteries is essential for advancing the transition to sustainable electric vehicles. This presentation will highlight the unique features of Lewatit® ion exchange resins in battery applications.
