Energy and cost-efficient cold filling of beverages – enabled by Nagardo and Velcorin
Nagardo® natural guardian and Velcorin® cold-fill technology enable an effective microbiological stabilization of beverages through cold filling, which can eliminate the need for energy intensive thermal treatment or chilled chain distribution. Besides the energy saving opportunities, the technologies can enable a cost-efficient production. In particular, cost savings can be achieved through increased packaging flexibility, decreased or omitted maintenance costs and limited manufacturing footprint.
